ISLP National Competition

Canadian Statistical Literacy Poster Competition

Create, Share, Compete

How to Participate

The International Statistical Literacy Project (ISLP) supports, creates and participates in statistical literacy activities and promotion around the world. One of the initiatives they introduced was an international ISLP poster competition that runs every two years. Multiple countries run competitions ahead of the international one, including Canada!

What is the Canadian ISLP Poster Competition?

Data are everywhere! Therefore, using data summaries and graphics to make sense of the world around us is an essential skill. This competition gives students from across Canada a chance to demonstrate this.

The Canadian ISLP poster competition invites Grade 4 to bachelor-level postsecondary students to create posters to demonstrate their statistical literacy skills. Winners of the Canadian competition will represent Canada in the international competition which is taking place shortly thereafter.

Create, Share, Compete

There is no specific theme nor topic for this competition. Posters that reflect the use of data to answer question(s) of interest to you are eligible. So, use your imagination and create something awesome!
